OK Building palace now.
Creating a colony about 7hrs away on the same island as Miss redneck spice empire for marble or I can go much closer but no where near anybody. any Ideas on which location I should go to?

Also how much supplies should i build up with first before starting new colony?

What should my priorities be in building?

Thanks for the help in advance.

I sent you a message in game. You want to try and keep all of your Towns fairly close together. It makes it a lot easier to transfer supplies and protect your other towns. You also want to research Foreign cultures ASAP so you can build an Embassy and get into the alliance. Once your in the alliance chances of getting attacked are less. But it still happens.

A few people abandoned their original towns after they got another one going closer to our group.

I'm sure redneck can elaborate more about gov res etc etc

He has heard everything I have to say really, I tried to explain governors residences but I don't think he understood. It may be one of those things that just makes more sense after you've done it LOL or I can't explain shit.

I told him to move up our way mostly for protection and because we have a sweet marble island.  Metal  I personally don't think it's such a bad idea to have your colonies spread out a bit but it is a pain in the ass if someone attacks or you run low on wine, however it's an advantage if you want to some fresh pillaging grounds.

Also if you decide to abandon your colony do it soon, you don't want to be like Growler with 90K+ points trying to move all your stuff.  It may seem like you've built up a lot and you don't want to give up the stuff you've worked so hard on but it's really nothing. What you have built right now I could lose in my couch cushions, I wouldn't worry about destroying it and starting over again. You will be surprised how much faster you can build things when you have a marble island.
