I would have to destroy something to build another warehouse. I also don't do things, like think ahead, right now I have to build up every one of my warehouses to hold enough resources to upgrade my Gov residences.
Also my glass requirement shrink much more quickly through doing research than gathering it, they shrink by 1055 glass per hour and I can only gather 635 per hour, so I usually only buy a couple of days research at a time, and only if I have the glass to spare. Also nobody can steal my Academies.
