My last Governor's Residence is being upgraded and I decided I wanted to see how bad the corruption would be so I planted my new city. -300 Satisfaction for the next 15 hrs. didn't think it would be that high.

It really isn't that bad it's just 2 people per hour I'm losing, so I should be able to get them back in no time. I just don't think it was worth it. Oh well.

Also I need to have an embassy to stay in the alliance right?

Actually... I destroyed my embassy, it was gone for like a 10 hours.... I built it again and was still in the alliance... so I don't know if it will kick you out after a longer time or not but w/e.

So I can destroy my embassy and stay in the alliance?

I was going to just move it to my new town so I could have a barracks in my capital but if I don't need one, I won't rebuild it.

I would think it is a VERY useful thing to have. Considering it shows all the locations of members and who is online etc etc. And over time, I'm not sure if it boots you from the alliance if you don't have one

I built another embassy anyway, I think I'm going to ask on the Ikariam boards whether or not I need an embassy because I could always use more building space.

You don't have to have the embassy to stay in the alliance, but if you destroy it, and you are part of the alliance, and a GO catches you then you get banned. They consider it an exploit they call bugusing so keep your embassy.
